Luther “Luke” Wakefield Livingston

Luther Wakefield Livingston Jr., age 90 of Sugar Hill, died July 22, 2026. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Duluth First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. C. Kay Fuino officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 p.m. at Duluth First United Methodist Church. A reception following the service will take place in the Dorothy L. Rainey Fellowship Hall.

Mr. Livingston was born in Statesville, NC and was a retired lobbyist for a pharmaceutical company. He was a member of Duluth First United Methodist Church and a member of the Explorer Sunday School class. He also received the "Spirit of Good Living Award" from the city of Duluth on January 27, 2020.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Livingston; children, Leslie Boyle of Lawrenceville, Jeff Livingston of Thailand, Eddie Livingston of Buford, James Livingston (Ginger Reeves) of Braselton and Toni Livingston of Duluth; grandchildren, Hannah Livingston, Mitch Livingston, Clancy Boyle, Connor Boyle, Hunter Boyle (Amie) and Brooke Livingston (Harrison Everette); great grandchildren, Hattie and Hudson; sister, Patti Neill of Phoenix, AZ and sister-in-law, Alice Livingston of Lawrenceville.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Phillip and Jerry Livingston.
